#BetterBristol Crowdfunding Campaign: The proof is in the projects!
31st May 2016
Since launching the Better Bristol crowdfunding campaign in partnership with Crowdfunder we’ve seen a raft of innovation and inspiration from grass roots projects across the city – raising over £179,000 already and going strong as more projects take up the opportunity to make a reality of their ideas to further the ambition of a low-carbon city with a better quality of life for all.
#BetterBristol is not just about raising funds, it’s raising awareness of the incredible ideas contained within our city and the people with the drive and determination to make them happen.

After attending a Bristol Green Capital Partnership workshop earlier this year, Bristol business start-up LettUs Grow reached for the stars and raised over £7000 – as well as making it into the Virgin Media Business shortlist to pitch at the world-record breaking attempt for the biggest ever pitchathon!

The school raised over £3000 – smashing their target of £2750 with 143 backers – showing just what a community can achieve with the right ambition. Those who pledged support received rewards from a unique and inventive menu including specially designed jute bags, yoga sessions, birthday parties, BBC tours, wildflower seeds and artist prints.
