19th April 2016
As summer approaches, have you considered taking part in Big Green Week and Business Green Week? Take a look at these great opportunities from Big Green Week and Go Green who invite you to get involved, get creative and go green this summer!
Host an Event as part of Big Green Week 2016
Bristol’s Big Green Week is back! From 11 – 19th June we’re programming environmental events to inspire, involve, empower and educate, across the city. But we need YOU to get involved to make it happen.
Do you have an idea for an event, or know someone that might? We’re looking for fantastic people, projects and organisations to host events during this year’s festival. The criteria is broad. From a pop-up cinema to supper club, or a clothes swap to a speaking event, it’s really up to you! The key is that it helps to build momentum towards Bristol’s low-carbon future. It’s that simple.
What do we offer event hosts? We will profile & promote events in-print & online, link you with venues or relevant event partners, supply you with volunteers and ticket events via our site.
See our event registration page for more info: www.biggreenweek.com/host-an-event/
Event Registration Deadline: 22nd April
Event registration for online programme listing: 30th April
Business Green Week is a chance for businesses in the West of England to spend one week having fun whilst proving to their employees, clients and customers how they are adopting greener business practices. In 2016 it will run from June 11th to June 19th as part of the Big Green Week programme. But ‘it doesn’t stop here’ – Go Green is supporting businesses to continue their green activities all year round!
Business Green Week comes at a great time to recognise and celebrate the business community’s contribution to a greener region as a legacy for Bristol’s year as European Green Capital. Find out what businesses got up to last year!
