Health and social care the low emissions way

GO LOW is a unique sustainable travel network being developed for health and social care organisations and businesses in Bristol and the South West.

Go Low meets the challenges of delivering community health and social care services in a sustainable way. The model of service has been developed by the Avon & Wilshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust with support from Bristol City Council. Go Low provides an integrated network of low emission cars and electric bikes for use by community health staff. The priciples of the service are: 

• to support active travel options by giving staff choice of travel modes
• to provide travel at the least cost possible
• to ensure all journeys are conducted with the minimal level of emission and pollution
• to enhance service productivity
