8th December – £1000 for a project (and an AGM)

On the 8th December The Green Capital Momentum Group will be voting for the Chair and Vice Chair of the Partnership and awarding £1000 to a CCF project – all based on your vote ( if you have made the Green Capital Pledge )

Alastair Sawday, who has served us so well over the last 5 years, is stepping down as Chair . In accordance with our  Terms of Reference, our current vice chair Amy Robinson has served 1 year and so may serve another year if voted in again.

We currently have one nomination for Chair and one for vice chair. You can find the applications from the candidates here.

We will still hold an election on the 8th and you will have the option of voting ‘yes’ for the candidate or to choose ‘ re open nominations’. If the majority vote is ‘ re open nominations ‘ we will go back out to the citizens of Bristol to try to source new nominations and re schedule the elections.

On the same evening we will be awarding an extra £1000 to one of the Community Challenge Fund projects.

Who can Vote

If you are from an organisation who has pledged to Green Capital you will be entitled to vote for both the Chair / Vice Chair and for the project that will be awarded the £1000.
