Real Refurbs Event on 18th Feb

Real Refurbs Event – this Saturday 18th Feb @ Create, 11-2pm

Following on from ‘Fabric First’ when we looked at repairs & maintenance, this Saturday’s event launches phase 2 ‘Warm & Cosy’, focusing on the elegant dance of draught-proofing, insulation and ventilation.

There will be a number of practical draught-proofing and insulation demonstrations (underfloor, loft, internal & external solid walls) by local Vit Repa and Green Capital members Nick Lloyd and Richard Holyoak. ‘Warm & Cosy’ interpretation panels will go up on the terrace house exhibit, and two new free factsheets will be available.

The event runs from 11-2pm, Create is open until 4pm.
