A 23-year-old local businessman is drumming up support for Bristol’s European Green Capital 2014 bid with an epic solo bike ride across Europe.

Bristol Green Capital – Getting it done

24th April 2012 – The Folk House, Park St , Bristol

The quarterly meeting of the Bristol Green Capital momentum group focused on

  • overview from the Leader of the Council, Barbara Janke
  • an update regarding the EUGC 2014 shortlisting and
  • discussions around “Future City” projects that have been identified by the group and how they could be progressed. Small group discussion were held to explore the desired outcomes and to define some of the actions. More detail about these projects and how they are progressing is available here.
