Helping to create a Low Carbon City with a High Quality of Life for All
The ‘Building Community Capacity’ workshop will bring together groups who are organising or are interested in community renewable energy projects within the West of England (Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and Bristol), to identify opportunities for support.
For those thinking of taking up volunteering in the coming year (and there are endless opportunities to get involved with all kinds of sustainable and environmental activities and organisations), there is a “Preparing to volunteer” course starting in January.
This course will give people new skills and confidence, preparation for returning to work and an understanding of the wealth of experiences and opportunities that can be gained from volunteering.
