In 2011, the Bristol Food Network ran the inaugural ‘Get Growing Garden Trail’. It featured 23 groups, involved in different growing projects across the city. Each group held an event to showcase what they do – to raise awareness, raise funds, or try to get people involved or indeed, just promote the ’cause’. The Localism Act and neighbourhood planning
