2011 Residents Survey

In July we added a page of questions to the Bristol City Council 2011 Residents Survey. Our aim was to establish a baseline of information from which we could judge progress – progress in helping people understand the climate crisis that we are facing, helping people understand what they can do about it as individuals, and helping us as a partnership understand what people think the priorities are. The free text answers to the question: What one thing can we do more of to help Bristol become a Green Capital, are particularly worth a read!

Green Light for Bristol’s Volunteers

In celebration of the European Year of Volunteering, a number of organisations have come together to promote Green Volunteering in Bristol and showcase the array of opportunities for both organisations and individuals to get involved in nature and sustainability through volunteer work.

Big Green Week 2012

In 2011, the Green Capital Partnership ran the UK’s first ever city-wide festival of sustainability called Good Living Week. You can see more details of the 2011 events here: Good Living Week 2011.

However, the name has been changed and it is going to be Big Green Week in 2012.
