How your organisation can make a difference

With over 800 members, Bristol Green Capital Partnership has the power to create a more inclusive and sustainable Bristol with a high quality of life for all.

We’re working with city partners to provide support for organisations who want to play a part in equalising opportunities and building sustainability skills and leadership for the future.

Bristol WORKS

Could your organisation providing opportunities for young people through work experience in environmental sustainability, regardless of their background? Bristol WORKS can make offering a meaningful work experience opportunity hassle free, with advice and information about work experience options, support to connect your offer to young people in schools and colleges, and a platform to share insights into your workplace and to celebrate good practice. Pledge your support or register interest here.

Skills Bridge

Does your organisation have a project that aims to make Bristol a happier and healthier place to be? Could your organisation have a greater impact in the community with the help of some expert support? We’re helping members of the Partnership to connect with both Universities in Bristol on sustainability projects which bring together both students and community partners. To find out more, contact amy@bristolgreencapital.org, register your enquiry at www.skillsbridge.ac.uk or talk to the team from Skills Bridge in person at the monthly Green Mingle.

Stepping Up

Bristol is launching an accelerated 1-3 year citywide career progression pipeline to change the leadership landscape. It will ensure individuals from a Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic (BAME) background will be in a position of influence and power. The aim is to unlock talent and help people reach their potential. Opportunities to participate, for both individuals and employers, begins in Oct 2017 and the deadline for applications is 7 December. You can apply online, contact steppingup@bristol.gov.uk to express interest, and read more in the Stepping UP Brochure.
