Can you help the Partnership team?
30th August 2019
The staff team is looking for member support with finances, book-keeping and accountancy. See below for more information about what we are after, and get in touch with a brief outline of your relevant skills and experience if you think you can help.
The CIC’s operations are relatively simple and therefore do not merit a dedicated ‘chief financial officer’, so we would hugely value pro bono support around monthly financial reports, quarterly board meetings and annual budgeting. We are looking for an individual with great financial skills, ideally with experience of community interest companies or other small enterprises and the issues that they face to advise the staff team and our CIC directors.
This person would ideally be able to contribute around 2 hours a month advising on presentation of financial data and checking our financial updates, and an additional 2-3 hours on a quarterly basis for directors’ meetings either in person or to help the team to respond to financial queries that may arise, and a further 2-3 hours once a year on the annual budgeting process. We remain very grateful to Smith & Williamson for their continued support in helping the Partnership to prepare our annual accounts and reports.
Should we be in the fortunate position to receive more than one offer of support, we will consider who may be best placed to support the Partnership’s current needs in light of their skills and experience.
