New Chair and Vice Chair

It is with pleasure that I announce the results of the election for Chair and Vice Chair of Bristol Green Capital Partnership for 2014:

Chair – Philippa Bayley and Liz Zeidler (job share)

Vice Chair – Nina Skubala.

I am sure that you will join me in wishing them the best in their new roles.

I would like to thank the other contenders for the posts for their contributions: Guy Poultney; Alastair Sawday; Fraser Bridgeford; David Hunter; and David Owen.

I look forward to their and everybody’s continuing contributions to Bristol Green Capital Partnership and making Bristol a greener city.

Finally I would like to thank you all for helping to make my time as Chair of Bristol Green Capital Partnership exciting, enjoyable and very rewarding.

On hearing the news Philippa and Liz said:“We are delighted to be the new Chair of the Bristol Green Capital Partnership, and to be working with Nina as Vice Chair. This is just the beginning of showing that fresh ideas and collaborative working are welcome in the Partnership.
We have bold plans for how we can all work together to make 2015 a transformative year for the city, and look forward to sharing those with you. All of you are needed – please come on 27 January to find out what role you can play in Bristol’s Green Capital.”
And Nina said: “I am delighted to accept the position of Vice Chair of the Bristol Green Capital Partnership. I look forward to working alongside Liz Zeidler and Philippa Bayley, my colleagues at Business West and ALL partnership members to help prepare the city for its exciting role as European Green Capital in 2015.”
