Director elections – the results are in!
18th April 2019
Bristol Green Capital Partnership’s member organisations this month had the opportunity to elect a director to join the board of the company that supports them. This important role contributes directly to the strategic direction of the Partnership staff team’s work and helps to ensure that it continues to be effective in supporting its members, amplifying their work, and influencing towards an environmentally sustainable city.
Following a call-out for applications from the membership, four people put themselves forward. You can find more information about them here.
In order of total votes received, the results were:
- Jessica Ferrow – 32 votes (42%)
- Manu Maunganidze – 31 votes (40%)
- Christina Biggs – 9 votes (12%)
- Jules Peck – 5 votes (6%)
The process of appointing Jessica Ferrow to the board of directors as of 1 May 2019 has started. She will join Chris Dunford, our other elected director.
We are exploring ways to help connect the elected directors with Partnership members and will keep you posted on the outcomes.
A huge thank you to all the candidates who took part and to all those members organisations that voted. And thanks also to Christina, who will be leaving the board of directors, for all of her enthusiasm and hard work over the last year.
We are also reaching out to all the candidates to gain their insights about process to help inform future plans.
Note: Lead contacts for each Partnership member organisation were sent a link with which to cast their vote, and each registered contact should have received voting information. Please let us know if you did not receive this, to ensure our contact information is up-to-date.
