Are you a Bristol-based community organisation or leader interested in developing a community-led climate action plan?

Join the Bristol Community Climate Action project partners at the new Heart of BS13 Roundhouse for an informal community surgery to support and inspire you with on your community climate action journey.

Over the last year, six Bristol community organisations have coproduced community climate action plans with and for their diverse communities with the support of Bristol Green Capital Partnership, Bristol City Council and the Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE). These plans identify key priorities to help deliver Bristol’s 2030 carbon neutral ambition, whilst also improving the quality of life for local people. The project partners’ are keen to support and encourage peers from Bristol’s community sector to develop their own community-led climate action.

Sign up for this friendly session where project partners will share valuable learning and insights and colleagues from other community organisations can ask questions and get advice, resources and questions answered to support them with the early steps of cocreating a community climate action plan.

  • Refreshments will be provided and the venue is wheelchair accessible
  • Booking essential as places are limited
  • A transport bursary is available to any Bristol not-for-profit community organisation if required

The surgery will include insights and support from:

Ambition Lawrence Weston, ACH, Bristol Disability Equality Forum, Eastside Community Trust, Heart of BS13 and Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust, Bristol Green Capital Partnership, Bristol City Council and CSE.
