  • Start - 5:30pm Thursday 08th September 2022
  • Finish - 7:00pm Thursday 08th September 2022
  • Free
  • Mshed, Wapping Road, Bristol, BS1 4RN

The Green Mingle is Bristol Green Capital Partnership’s monthly networking event, offering individuals and organisations the opportunity to meet in an informal setting, make connections, share ideas and learn about innovative projects and initiatives in Bristol.

Join us for a special edition of the Green Mingle to celebrate the Bristol Community Climate Action Project and share a special announcement about the next stage of the project.

The project, coordinated by the Partnership, is pioneering bold and fair community-led climate action in Bristol. In the spring the project launched Bristol’s first ever community climate action plans, coproduced by six diverse communities, ACH, Ambition Lawrence Weston, Bristol Disability Equality Forum, Eastside Community Trust, Heart of BS13 and Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust with support from CSE and Bristol City Council. The plans demonstrate the leadership role communities can play in the city’s response to the climate crisis, whilst also improving the quality of life for local people.

The Partnership warmly invites you to hear about the exciting and ambitious future plans for the project.

  • Cllr Kye Dudd, Cabinet Member for Climate, Ecology, Waste and Energy, Bristol City Council
  • Amy Harrison, Head of Community Partnerships, Bristol Green Capital Partnership
  • Representatives of the project’s Community partners
  • Head of the National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund

As this is a special edition of the Green Mingle we will be mixing things up a bit. The evening will kick off at 5.30pm with time for informal mingling within the Think Global: Act Bristol exhibition followed by our exciting announcement and presentations from 6.15pm.

The event is free to attend but please reserve a space.

The Bristol Community Climate Action Project is generously supported by the National Lottery Community Fund’s Climate Action Fund.
