Host a UWE student for a 2021 work based learning placement

Would you be interested in hosting a student in 2021 to undertake either a 48 day placement or a shorter period of work based learning over the summer?

Students on environmental and sustainability Masters degrees at UWE undertake placements and work based learning with a wide range of organisations across the South West region. Placements can commence from mid-April.

Previous placements have seen students working with businesses, consultancies and public sector organisations on a range of projects in ecology, air quality, energy management, water quality. Past and present hosts include Air Quality Consultants, Arup, Bristol City Council, Bristol Food Policy Council, Bristol Green Capital Partnership, Centre for Sustainable Energy, Common Cause, Eat Drink Bristol Fashion, Ecus Ltd, Eunomia, Forum for the Future, Happy City, Go Bristol, Good Energy, Oxfam, Soil Association Stantec, Stride Treglown and WSP.

Placements must be at an appropriate level for the student’s study.
