The Spark Forum

The Spark Forum

NEXT EVENT: The Spark Forum has been postponed due to the pandemic. We very much hope to restart it in the future.

What Is It?

The Spark Forum is a way for the 1000+ members of the Partnership to connect and collaborate with the aim of creating impact.

For more information on the Spark Forum’s purpose and processes, download the Spark Forum Playbook, or contact Claire with any questions. You can also read about the first year of the Spark Forum in our Impact Report.

How does it work?

The Spark Forum is open to all members of Bristol Green Capital Partnership.

It hosts quarterly events to offer members the opportunity to pitch their idea or ‘make an ask’ to other members, giving rise to collaborative projects and collective action to accelerate change. The events will also include inspiring speakers and networking opportunities. Look out for invitations to submit your pitch in membership e-mails

Where?

Rotating venues; we encourage partnership members to offer space. (Have you got one? Let us know!)

How was it created?

The Spark Forum has been created by members, for members. Volunteers from the membership worked together to develop the forum, and a Spark Committee of members organise the Spark Forum events and encourage participation from other members. Read more about our first event here.

Online Spark Hub

There is also an online space to allow members to communicate, post ideas, and share outcomes from events for those unable to attend. Members voted to use Linkedin Group as the platform, and can request to join the group here.

With thanks

Many thanks to all the members of the Spark Committee for their time and contributions to the Forum, and especially to Greenhouse PR, We The Curious and Yoke for providing significant in-kind support.
