Partnership staff update: Interim Chief Operating Officer
25th March 2021
Bristol Green Capital Partnership (BGCP) is pleased to introduce Alice Peperell as our new Interim Chief Operating Officer.
She will start in post on 7 April, providing maternity cover for BGCP’s Chief Operating Officer Lizzi Testani, until Lizzi’s return in early 2022.
Alice is joining BGCP after a year producing the Loneliness Lab, an 800+ strong cross-sector members’ network on a mission to tackle loneliness in our cities. Before that, she spent over a decade working in live production and operations management across arts, sustainable hospitality, experiential marketing and immersive environments for major brands and small start-ups. Alice is passionate about sustainability, connected communities and facilitating collective action to achieve meaningful change. Her work has spanned the UK, Spain, New Zealand and India, including launching Morning Gloryville as a global event in 14 cities across four continents.
Lizzi Testani says, “We’re delighted to have Alice joining the team and, for me personally, it’s reassuring to know that my responsibilities are in such a safe and passionate pair of hands. I think Alice is going to really enjoy working with Partnership members in what will be an exciting year for Bristol’s environmental progress.”
Alice says, ”I am thrilled to be joining a visionary core team and pioneering partnership to lead the business plan forward during this pivotal interim period. It is a privilege to work collaboratively with passionate members to tackle some of the most pressing environmental and ecological challenges of our time across Bristol and the West of England.”
