Sign up to Business Green Week!

https-cdn.evbuc.comimages318798651319255323111originalBy taking part in Business Green Week this June, your organisation can take part in fun sustainability-themed activities while showing your employees, clients and customers that your business cares about the environment.

Go Green are encouraging businesses to run their own Business Green Week anytime during the month of June, while incorporating the themes of Avon Wildlife Trust’s 30 Days Wild. By signing up to Business Green Week, you will receive a pack full of inspiration and tips, and be kept informed of any news and updates during the month. There are also some inspiring case studies which demonstrate some of the changes businesses have made and the benefits they have brought.

A recommended (but not compulsory) schedule focuses on five sustainability-related areas – one for each day of the working week. As part of the celebration of Avon Wildlife Trust’s 30 Days Wild, some businesses are substituting one of the suggested themed days for a ‘Wild Day’, but this is totally up to you!

Monday – “Think Global”
Tuesday – “Act Local”
Wednesday – “Low Impact Day”
Thursday – “Better Travel Day”
Friday – “Feel Good Friday”

Participants are encouraged to get creative with how they spend their week. Last year 70 organisations registered to take part and held all kinds of activities, from lunchtime nature walks to smoothie bikes and team travel challenges, locally sourced picnics in the park and even hula hooping competitions! See here for more details.

Register your interest here and don’t forget to use the hashtag #businessgreenweek when documenting your activities and sharing photos via social media.
